Playground. Flush toilets. Rentable day use areas for parties. Follows the river. Plenty of picnic tables and shade. Good fishing spots. But u have to pay for day use. 5 bucks.
I do have one complaint I am currently sitting in front of the park and it is 7:30 a.m. the park opens at 7. I pay for a recreational State pass I should be able to enter the park when it opens. I am currently leaving the park because the park ranger is not present to open the gate this is a holiday weekend amazing.
Really nice Park with shelterd picnic areas and hiking trails. Open from May 1st to September.
Really nice but the bees could be a little frustrating, they like food ,it has a beautiful river and a genital breed that comes off of the river on a hot day ,also there is a Frisbee course ,And a volleyball net ,and covered cooking areas And restrooms that have flushing toilets , The guys who work at the check in are really nice and very helpful ,we had our sons wedding there on Aug 27 2017
Beautiful spring flowers and nice stroll along a portion of the Willamette River. Currently closed but a day use area later in the year. Would be great for reunion picnics; shelters have electric grills, picnic tables, several play ground areas and a separate dog park.
As Oregon State Park hosts, we love this park along the river. Love seeing so many making use of the covered picnic areas, and walking dogs or bicycling in the park. It is a beautiful place .
Jasper State Recreation Site is beautiful riverside park that is very popular for weddings, reunions, and large family picnics. There are 4 reservable group shelters with cooking areas, sinks, picnic tables and flush restrooms nearby. Ball fields, playground, river access, volleyball and riverside trails provide for plenty of activities for kids and adults alike.
The upstream end of the park provides walking trails through a grand riparian forest, with the rush of the river a constant companion. Angling is popular in this stretch of river, and there is easy access for launching canoes or kayaks to float the Willamette River Water Trail.
